Most of the State of New South Wales is at present having the worst floods for perhaps over 100 years in some areas. About 75% of the State is experiencing some of the worst rain in living memory, some places receiving twice their annual rainfall in a few days! Many rivers are flooded and people are being evacuated from their homes as the water rises. Some low-lying parts of Sydney are on flood alert. Where I'm living there is no danger, but the rain is consistent and a nuisance. Parts of the State of Victoria are also being flooded by the rain and storms. A tree fell on a lady's car in Victoria, killing her today.
