VISION SPECIAL : WHAT IS NOW ! WHAT MIGHT HAVE BEEN !
On the Island of Delos - an island sacred to the ancient Greeks - a theatre was built c.300B.C. in honour of the god Dionysus. The stage was flanked by two great phallic sculptures in marble. The phalli have long disappeared, but a viewer of this blog has reconstructed them!
Many thanks to "Robert"!

thanks to Robert, indeed! Why doesn't Robert submit his extraordinary designs to the Greek government for them to consider reinstating the 'phallic structures' ... perhaps they will, once the coffers are somewhat fuller again, that is ... (LOL).
Would love to be on the island. Maybe we should all go over there and worship on that island.

Perfect! It's a shame the Greeks don't restore them or place replicas next to the broken originals.
God bless those Greeks!
