Now that I've got your attention!
The results of the tests and ultrasounds show that my prostate is enlarged, but we already knew that, and that my bladder is not emptying fully when I pee! This could have caused the infection.
Suggested action: prostate surgery!

Make sure that you get a second opinion and make sure that your doctor is top notch. infections are usually treated with antibiotics for a long period of time.

Hope, they'll find another solution to the problem other than cutting you open ...
I have the same problem, I use Cranberry pils 1 in the morning and 1 in the evening and I never have bletter infection anymore.
My wishes for your speedy recovery. My father had this done 40 years ago and he was very pleased with the final result.
